If you’re a user of social media you have probably seen the viral product that is the Photo Projection Bracelet.
What is a photo bracelet?
Resembling a standard bracelet on the outside, these bracelets hold a secret. They allow you to keep any photo inside.
Available in many different designs including rope, chain or tennis bracelets. They are made using a specialist machine to micro-engrave the photo onto a small piece of glass in the centre of the bracelet. It is this glass design which allows the photo to be viewed in two different ways.
How to view photo projection bracelet?
The photo inside can be viewed using the naked eye, although we recommend using a phone camera. This is done by looking as closely into the rounded side as possible. Once you get close enough the photo will begin to become clear.
The photo can also be projected onto any surface. This is done by placing a light against the opposite side (flatter) and pointing at any surface from 15-30cm.
Tip: When using your phone camera to view the photo inside, changing the level of zoom can allow the camera to focus better. We recommend a zoom of 0.9x.
Should you get a photo bracelet?
Photo bracelets are a great addition to anyone’s outfit and can be worn on many occasions. Many people find it comforting to know their favourite photo is with them wherever they go. The bracelet can make the perfect gift for an anniversary or birthday and can be given to a long distance partner. Photo bracelets are also commonly used as matching bracelets for couples.
While photo bracelets are the most popular projection product, photo jewellery can also include necklaces, rings and keyrings
Where to buy photo jewellery?
While the number of businesses selling personalised photo jewellery has sky rocketed in recent times, there is only one brand we would fully trust with our sentimental jewellery. Allure Jewellery were one of the first to launch the photo bracelet and are still offering the best service we have seen.
While still affordable, they are at the higher end price wise. However, this means superior quality as they do not use cheaper materials. Allure Jewellery have over 25,000 happy customers and offer the longest product guarantee (when compared to their competitors) at 100 days.
