The vulnerable part is the lens: a tiny printed image sealed into the pendant. Water that gets behind that seal, especially warm water in a shower or salt and chlorine in a pool or sea, can cloud the lens over time or work at the seal until moisture creeps in. Once that happens, the photo doesn’t project as sharply, and it’s not something that can be undone.

So the honest version of “is it waterproof” is: the bracelet will survive getting wet. The photo is what’s on the clock.

What’s actually fine vs. what isn’t

Fine, don’t worry about it:

• Getting caught in the rain
• Washing your hands with it on
• A stray splash while doing the dishes
